The Tennessee Tornado

I went to Dollywood today and road the Tennessee Tornado! Here is a video of my experience (and please don't make fun of me - it is really funny though):

Lego Batman

Today I got the new Lego Batman video game because I got good grades on my report card (straight A's!) I got to play a little, even though it is a school night. So far, it is fun, really fun. I have fought Mr. Freeze, Two-Face, and Clayface. On the level I am on right now, I will have to fight Poison Ivy. Some of the new features on this game are costumes that help you. For example, Robin has a magnet suit so he can climb up metal walls. When you fight, your enemies can get knocked airborne. You get a boomerang, and mines (mines are for costumes).

Teachers Vs. Students

Today was the annual Teacher Vs. Students kickball game at my school. The PTA raises money by selling roster slots to students, who take on the teachers in a kickball game. This year, not many teachers could play, but they still beat us. Last year, the students won handily. I got to bat/kick lead-off, and also pitched in the first inning because I signed up first. We played five innings. I got on base every time, but never scored a run. It was fun, though, even if we lost.

This is how my team chose a pitcher. They fought each other for the ball. Then one of the teachers said I was the pitcher.
This is me on second the first time I kicked. Mrs. Bowen is a fifth grade teacher. She missed two easy outs because she dropped the ball. One time her sunglasses fell off.
This is me kicking.
This is Mrs. Scott. She is a really cool fourth grade teacher.
This is Mr. J. He was my second grade teacher, and now he teaches fourth grade. He is really cool. He is also very good at kickball.
This is me kicking the ball the second time. I kicked twice. I laid down a sweet bunt.

A Galaxy Victory!

My soccer team The Galaxy beat The Sabretooths 4-2. It was a great game. I played the whole time, and made two really good defensive plays. Mom was really excited for me. On one play, I outran a big kid and took the ball from him, then I passed it down field to one of our players and he scored. I left the other player laying there. Mom called Dad to tell him about it, it was so cool.
This is me throwing the ball in. I had to throw the ball in a lot.
I'm #13. We're still using last year's uniforms. When we get this year's uniforms, I will be #2.
I'm down field, mixing it up.
This is my team in the post-game meeting. I am sitting on my soccer ball, with my back against the fence, eating a cakester. I don't know what the girl with the thermos is doing.
This is Coach T. He is cool. He is a really fun coach. His son "Deuce" is on our team. He kicks the ball really hard.

Wipeout

We have a new favorite show: Wipeout. It comes on ABC on Tuesdays at 8:00. You should watch it. It's hilarious. People do those most hardest, dumbest obstacles ever. And they fall down a lot, which is why it's so funny. If you win Wipeout, you get fifty thousand dollars. There's always an obstacle on the first course called Sucker Punch. You walk down a wall with holes that have boxing gloves in them. The gloves shoot out randomly and you try not to get sucker-punched. The thing that makes it hard is that the wall has a very small ledge to walk on and it's hard to stay on. Sometimes, the ones that are low trip you. Mom likes the big balls. There are these big red balls that people have to bounce across. People always wipe out on the big balls. Watch Wipeout. You'll laugh your head off. You can go to youtube and search on Wipeout - they have some funny episodes.

New Backpack

I ordered a new backpack last night. School starts back next Wednesday (for me, Ben goes back in August). Nana got me my first backpack five years ago, right before I started kindergarten. Thanks, Nana - it was a great backpack.

But now I will have the Featherlight backpack. I got True Navy. I got my initials and a soccer ball embroidered on the front. I can't wait till it gets here!

Ben ordered one too - he got the Multi-tasker in Garnet. He also got his initials, but he got a baseball on his. He has used his backpack from Nana for 6 years! It was worn OUT. This is Ben's:

The Incredible Hulk

We went to see The Incredible Hulk on Father's Day. I forgot to make a post about it. Just like on Mother's Day, when we went to see Iron Man. Hulk was AWESOME. My favorite part was Hulk versus the Abomination. The Abomination was gross. At the end, you discover Hulk's blood was green.
